This discussion focuses on how children’s behaviors are influenced by the brain. You will learn connections between different areas of the brain and the behaviors that we see, key factors that influence behaviors, root causes of challenging behaviors and effective strategies for helping children with these difficulties.

These parent classes will be delivered by Dr. Angel Dy, an early childhood development consultant and trained trainer of Zero to Three’s The Growing Brain Curriculum. The sessions have been adapted to support parents with a 30 minute lecture followed by a short reflection of how to apply the learning in your day-to-day interactions with your child. We will end all sessions with an additional 15-20 minutes of Q&A.

Please note: recording of the lecture portion of the session will be made available to registrants for up to 30 days. Portions from reflections and Q&A will not be recorded to maintain the confidentiality of the inputs of participants.
