SKids Study: Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you for your interest in participating in the SKids Study: Screen Time Use in Kids. Below are some of the frequently asked questions of participants. In case you don't find what you are looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out to us through the contact page or email info@thegrowingbrainph.com.
Question 1: Will I get an individual result for my child?
Yes, each participant is given an option to receive a copy of the developmental skills evaluation report. it will be sent within a week after your survey submission. This gives us time to score and interpret the information you provided.
Question 2: My child will be 2 years old in September to December. How long is the survey available?
The SKids study is ongoing for the next few months. We invite you to visit the link again and join when your child turns 2 years old.
Question 3: My child just turned 3 years old, can we still participate?
Unfortunately, we need to follow our research protocol strictly and can only accommodate children 24 to 36 months old. If your child is already 3 years old (older than 36 months), then you would no longer qualify.
Question 4: I can't answer the survey in one sitting. Can we save and continue?
We understand that the survey is a bit long. There is no save button, but you can go back to the form anytime as long as you do not close the tab on your web browser.
Question 5: My child does not have screen time, should I still join?
Yes, we would also like to include kids who have zero to little screen time. The information you share will help us understand the situation of young children when it comes to growing up in the digital age whether or not they are using the devices.
