Vocabulary Tracker

A word can be defined as "a sound sequence that symbolizes meaning and can stand alone" (Hoff, 2005)

Development is a range and all children will develop at their own pace. As a general guide, we want to make sure that children are reaching their language milestones by a certain age, but we also want parents to know that the average number is what 50% of children that age can already say or speak.
